Rapper Snoop Dogg apologized on Wednesday for an obscenity-laced tirade in which he appeared to threaten a CBS news anchor over an interview about late basketball star Kobe Bryant.
Snoop Dogg 8217;s harangue on social media had followed an interview that 8220;CBS This Morning 8221; anchor Gayle King had with former women 8217;s basketball star Lisa Leslie which referenced a 2003 sexual abuse allegation against Bryant.
8220;Two wrongs don 8217;t make no right. When you 8217;re wrong, you gotta fix it, 8221; Snoop Dogg said in an Instagram video apologizing for his outburst.
8220;So with that being said, Gayle King, I publicly tore you down by coming at you in a derogatory manner based off of emotions, me being angry at questions that you asked, 8221; Snoop Dogg said, adding that he 8220;overreacted 8221; to the interview.
8220;I should have handled it way different than that 8212; I was raised way better than that. So I would like to apologize to you publicly for the language that I used and calling you out of your name and just being disrespectful. 8221;
