Brompton Hotel
The Brompton is a small,friendly hotel that hasan excellent location in the heart of South Kensington. The quiet Kensington Gardens, the Royal Albert Hall and the prestigious shopping district of Knightsbridge are all located nearby. The hotel is within easy reach of London's West End and its restaurants, theatres, and lively nightlife. Located on Brompton Road just a few minutes walk from South Kensington Underground Station, travel becomes a simple task. This station is served by 3 lines including the Piccadilly Line with direct travel to Heathrow Airport and the West End. Access to and from Gatwick Airport is via the Gatwick Express from Victoria Station.
There are 4 guest floors with 25 bedrooms in total. All have been recently renovated to a good tourist class standard. There are various categories of bedroom all having a private bathroom. Colour television, international direct dial telephone, hair dryer and tea and coffee making facilities are all standard facilities. Refridgerators and microwave cookers are available on request. Infant cots / cribs and ironing boards are available at Reception. Continental breakfast is included in the rate and is delivered to your room every morning.
There is a lively traditional bar located on the ground floor and is availbale to all guests with a 10% discount on all purchases.
Comment: The Brompton offers a basic, but very adequate and personal place to stay. The location is its most beneficial quality. The rooms are clean and comfortable.
