Paddington Court Hotel
Located just a few minutes walk from the Heathrow Express Terminal, the Paddington Court (formerly the Grosvenor Court) offers a great central location. Nearby underground stations enable quick and easy access to all areas of London with little effort including the West End, Theatreland and the City. Hyde Park is just a 5 minute walk away. Oxford Street with its thousands of shops, can be walked to in around 15 minutes. The Paddington Court has been established as one of London's most popular budget hotels for international travellers. The general standard is 3 star but the hotel has choosen to be classified as a top 2 star deluxe
There are 150 bedrooms all tastefully appointed with private bathroom, direct dial telephone, colour television and radio. Besides a number of dedicated singles, twins, doubles and triples, many rooms have the facility to accommodate an additional bed or cot therefore making the hotel very suitable for family stays. Public areas include the cosy Historian Bar complete with large screen television. There is a lovely lounge where you can take coffee or tea and snacks. The restaurant is a great favourite with guests and offers a variety of meals and of course breakfast. Private parties and meetings can be accommodated in the private function room for up to 140 people.
We have dealt with this hotel both before and after refurbishment. We are very happy with the new facilities and standard of furnishings. The hotel offers excellent value for money as a budget tourist class hotel. The bedrooms are in general compact but well furnished and, most importantly, clean and new! This, together with it's close location to the Heathrow Express terminal and to Oxford Street, must be a serious consideration for those on a budget who want to be assured of clean and comfortable surroundings.
